According to media reports, the conversation between Trump-Zelensky and Musk lasted for a total of 25 minutes. According to the report, Trump was with Elon Musk at his Mar-a-Lago residence. In the meantime, Zelensky called to congratulate the newly elected president on his massive victory in the US presidential election. Trump put the phone on speaker and Musk also spoke to Zelensky. Zelensky thanked Musk for helping to provide Internet service through Starlink to Ukraine in its battle with Russia.

During the phone call, Donald Trump handed the phone to Elon Musk and asked the SpaceX founder to join the conversation with President Zelensky.

American website Axios was the first to claim that Musk was also involved in the conversation. After this, a senior official of the Office of the President of Ukraine has justified this claim in a conversation with the news agency AFP.

The report quoted three sources with knowledge of the meeting as saying that the conversation lasted for 25 minutes. Trump, meanwhile, assured Zelensky that he would support him in the ongoing war with Russia.

Zelensky thanked Musk

Trump told Zelensky that he wanted to give diplomacy another chance. I promise you won't be disappointed with me. After this, Trump gave the phone to Musk. Musk spoke to Zelensky. Zelensky thanked Musk for providing internet service to Ukraine. Musk said he would continue to help Ukraine through its Starlink satellite.

After the war started in 2022, Russia destroyed the communication network in Ukraine. Musk's Starlink system has been providing internet in Ukraine ever since.

The President of Turkey also talked about being with Trump-Musk

Earlier on Thursday, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that he had spoken to Donald Trump. At that time Trump and Musk were having dinner together. Meanwhile, Musk's son was also with him. Erdogan said he appealed to Trump to stop the war in the Middle East. He did not say whether he had spoken to Musk.

Musk's presence amid talks between the two world leaders is a sign that the Tesla chief could play a bigger role in the Trump administration going forward. Trump has previously said he would like to include Musk in an advisory role in his next administration.

Musk, the world's richest man, played a big role in Trump's campaign. He was the first prominent businessman to openly campaign for Trump. According to reports, Musk has spent over Rs 900 crore on Trump's campaign.
